In the Beginning .....

Everyone has to start somewhere and it is a good idea to start at the beginning with the basics of the
Zentangle™ drawing method so that you are prepared for all future classes.  This course includes the history and purpose of Zentangle™, Strings, Tangles, Tiles and shading.  You will receive your basic student supply kit.  The class is 3 hours long and we will complete at least two beautiful works of art together.

Taking the Next Step .....

During this class we will take the next step in our Zentangle™ journey by adding new Tangles to your repertoire.  In the first class we explored white tiles with a black pen and this time we will explore black tiles with a white gel pen and tan tiles with a brown pen. We will also explore shading on both color tiles with a white charcoal pencil and a Zenstone.  I will add to your basic kit the supplies needed to complete this class.

Prerequisite: Completion of the beginning Zentangle™ class, please bring your beginner kit.

Exploring Zendalas

During this 2 1/2-hour class we will explore balance and symmetry while we create at least one Zendala tile.  All supplies included. 

Prerequisite: Completion of the beginning Zentangle™  class or the Elder College course. Please bring your student kit!
